Tabitha Knowles BScKin, MScOT Reg(NB)
Tabitha Knowles is an Occupational Therapist with over 15 years of experience dedicated to helping clients achieve comfort, function, and independence through customized seating and mobility solutions. She currently works at the Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation, the provincial neuromuscular rehabilitation centre in New Brunswick, in the outpatient adaptive seating department, where she specializes in complex seating and mobility prescriptions for clients with progressive, neuromuscular, genetic, and neurological conditions.

Sarah Timleck OT Reg. (Ont.) MScOT
Sarah Timleck graduated with an MScOT in 2009 from Dalhousie University. She is the owner of a growing private practice in Ontario, True Therapy Group. Sarah has been practicing for 14 years, primarily in community-based private practice and LTC, and has a passion for seating and mobility. She has been providing educational and consulting services in the seating and mobility industry for over 10 years across North America. Sarah values any opportunity to present on leading practices within the seating and mobility industry.

Lori Knott, BSc (OT), MSc (OT-PP), OT Reg. (Ont.)
Lori is an Occupational Therapist with 33 years of experience, currently living and practicing in Thunder Bay. Lori completed her undergrad from Western University in 1992 and a Master of Science from Dalhousie in 2007. Lori completed her thesis research on outcome measures related to wheeled seated mobility devices. Lori has been the chair of the Superior Seating and Mobility Conference from 2011 to 2025. Lori especially enjoys networking and building connections within the seating and mobility community.

Kathy Fisher, BSc (OT)
With a background in Occupational Therapy, Kathy has worked as an Assistive Technology Provider and Clinical Educator over the past 36 years. Kathy has been involved in the provision of high-technology rehabilitation equipment with clients in a variety of diagnostic categories, including pediatrics and bariatrics. She has worked as a clinical educator and product specialist for both the manufacturer and provider sectors of the industry. Kathy provides clinical education and product consultation across Canada in all equipment categories, including safe patient handling, pressure management, seating, and mobility. Her main area of interest and expertise is focused on complex rehab, specifically high-technology powered mobility and complex seating. Kathy joined International Registry of Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers (iNRRTS) as education manager with the goal of promoting education and responsibility among equipment providers ensuring excellence in service delivery of complex rehab technology. Kathy also consults as clinical education specialist for Motion Concepts and Evergreen Medical Products. Kathy has presented internationally at a variety of conferences including the Canadian Seating and Mobility Conference, Healthcare Innovations, Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists, Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists, RESNA, Medtrade, the International Seating Symposium, and European Seating Symposium, and is a contributor to the iNRRTS education program.

Andree Gauthier
Andree has been working for 34 years in various settings, with the last 20 years in seating and mobility. Presently working in the community doing seating assessments, custom seat, and w/c provision as a private practice OT.

Holly Buckler, MScOT, BKin
Holly works as an OT in Special Seating at the Nova Scotia Rehabilitation and Arthritis Centre. She also has experience in a variety of acute care settings with Nova Scotia Health. Holly completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Dalhousie University.

Kristy Drake
Kristy Drake is a Dalhousie University School of Occupational Therapy graduate with over twenty years of OT clinical experience. She moved back from BC to Nova Scotia in 2008 and has worked in a variety of settings and populations at Nova Scotia Health. She has spent the last 10 years with a clinical caseload in the Specialty Seating and Mobility Service at the Nova Scotia Rehabilitation Centre. She then moved into her current position of Seating and Mobility Leader providing mentorship, education, and practice support for NSH staff involved in the provision of seating and mobility services.

Maggie McCann
Maggie McCann is a pediatric occupational therapist with IWK Specialty Seating and Mobility in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Maggie has seven years of experience in pediatrics, having also worked in preschool rehabilitation and inpatient rehabilitation. Maggie is an advocate for client autonomy, dignity, and integrity. Maggie has come to understand the profound impact that optimum mobility solutions have on a person’s quality of life and ability to act independently, make their own choices, and exert control over their own lives.
